Chili And Meatballs With Cornmeal Dumplings Recipe

Ingredients
1. Beef bouillon (5tsp)
2. egg (1)
3. dry bread crumbs (1/4c)
4. finely chopped onion (3/4c)
5. ground beef (1 pound)
6. undrained kidney beans (1can)
7. ground cumin (1/4tsp)
8. finely chopped garlic (1clove)
9. tomatoes (3 stewed)
10. all purpose flour (3tbsp)
11. chili powder (1tsp)

Cornmeal Dumplings:-
1. Bisquick (1 1/2c)
2. milk (2/3c)
3. cornmeal (1/2c)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a bowl of medium size, mix meat, bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 3 teaspoon of bouillon, egg, onion in it. Mix all these properly. Make small balls of this mixture and then roll them in flour.

2. Take a pan, fry the meatballs in it until they get brown in color and then drain them and keep them aside. Take a Crockpot, except dumplings and beans mix all the remaining ingredients in the pot. Add meat balls in the mixture. Cover the pot and cook it over low heat for 8 to 10 hours. Mix beans in it.

3. Take a bowl of medium size, prepare dumplings in it by mixing cornmeal, bisquick and milk in it. Now drop the dumplings bu spoon into the chili. Cover the pot and cook it on high heat for 45 to 60 minutes until the dumplings get cooked.
