Baked Codfish Recipe
Ingredients
1. Fresh codfish (1 dressed about 2 pounds)
2. cooking oil (3tbsp)
3. onion (1large)
4. bay leaf (1)
5. thyme (1/2tsp)
6. marjoram (1/2tsp)
7. pepper (1/8tsp)
8. salt (1/2tsp)
9. mushrooms (1 pound)
10. lemons (3)
11. sliced tomatoes (4)
Method Of Preparation:-
1. Take fish, wash it and then pat dry it. Take a glass baking dish of medium size, place fish in it. Take a lemon, squeeze out its juice in a small bowl and then sprinkle it over the fish.
2. Cut the rest of the lemons into slices. Decorate it with lemon slices and tomatoes. Take mushrooms, wash them and keep them around the fish in the dish. Then sprinkle salt and pepper over it.
3. Add bay leaf, thyme, marjoram and rings of onions over the fish. Then sprinkle cooking oil over it. Cover the baking dish and place it in oven.
4. Now bake the fish at 400 degree for about 10 to 14 minutes. Then take out the baking dish from oven and keep it covered for about 5 minutes. Now remove the cover and transfer it into a serving dish and serve it.
