Boiled Cod With Oyster Recipe
Ingredients:
1pound cod fish, 1 can oysters, ¼ cup flour, ½ cup milk, Cayenne, Mace, Salt to taste, ½ cup butter.
Directions:
Wash the cod fish and clean it properly, cut into medium size pieces. Take a saucepan. Put water in it and add a little salt to it. Also add a few white cloves and pepper. Put the fish in the water and bring to boil, cook on a medium flame for about 20 minutes. Take out the fish and drain water, arrange in a serving dish. To make oyster sauce take the oysters and drain the liquid in a pan, heat on medium flame. Wash the oysters and cook in the liquor till the gill begins to curl, remove oysters from liquor. Now melt butter in a frying pan and add flour while stirring continuously. Add a little salt, cayenne and mace. Now add the oyster liquor and milk to it. Simmer for 5 minutes. The oyster sauce is ready, pour in a serving bowl and serve with the fish cooked above.
