Fried Venison Recipe

Ingredients:
½ pd. ground venison, beef, turkey or thin sliced venison, ½ cup small diced onion, ¼ cup sliced celery, ¼ cup diced bell pepper,
2 cloves diced garlic, 1 med. can dried tomatoes, salt, pepper, and oregano to taste.

Procedure:
Saute all ingredients in a small amount of oil. Set aside and cool. Thaw frozen biscuit. Roll dough about 1/8 inch thick using as little flour as possible. Stack dough between wax paper until ready to use.Place a tablespoon of cooled ingredients in center of dough. Fold pastry in half, moisten the edges with water and seal well with fork. In a heavy skillet, heat one inch of cooking oil to about 350 degrees. Carefully place pies in hot oil, brown on each side and place on paper towels to drain.
