Swordfish A La Siciliana Recipe
Ingredients
Swordfish steaks (2pounds), pitted and minced green olives (10), olive oil (5tbsp), minced garlic (1clove), minced onion (1small), raisins (3ounces), diced, ripe tomatoes(1/2 pound), pine nuts (2 ounces), salt and pepper (to taste), pine nuts (2 ounces), capers (1/4c).
Method of preparation:-
First heat the oven to 400 degrees F.Take slightly warm water, soak raisins in it. Soak them for about 30 minutes and then drain them. Place them aside. Take a large sauce pan, place it over high heat. Heat olive oil in it. Saute garlic and onion in it until they get soft. Mix olives, raisins, capers, pine nuts and tomatoes in it. Turn down the heat to low and cook it for about 15 minutes by covering the pan. Take a baking dish, grease it lightly with oil and then place the steaks, seasoned with salt and pepper on the dish. Add the cooked sauce over the steaks on the dish. Place the dish in oven and bake it for about 15n to 20 minutes or until the steaks get firm.
