Plain Chili Recipe

Ingredients :
Oil, 3 medium onions (chopped), 2 medium green peppers (chopped), 3 stalks celery (chopped), 8 pounds coarsely ground beef, 3 cloves garlic (chopped), 2 jars chili powder, 1 medium jalapeno chili (seeded and chopped), 2 tablespoons salt, 1 can tomato paste, 2 cans stewed tomatoes, 2 cans tomato sauce, 1 can chile salsa, Oregano, Garlic salt, Coarsely ground pepper

Preparation :
Thinly cover bottom of heavy 2 gallon pot with oil. Saute onions, green peppers and celery 10 minutes. Add meat and cook 10 minutes or until brown. Stir in tomatopaste, stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce. Add chopped garlic, chili powder, salt, dash oregano, chile salsa and jalapeno. Cook for 30 to 35 minutes, season to taste with garlic salt and pepper, then simmer 2 1/2 hours. Stir every 10-15 minutes.
