Rosemary – Fennel Bread Sticks Recipe

Ingredients
1. Flour (4 3/4c)
2. active dry yeast (2pkg)
3. crushed fennel seeds (2tsp)
4. salt (2 1/2tsp)
5. pepper (1/2tsp)
6. very warm water (1 1/3c)
7. olive oil (1/2c)
8. crushed, dried rosemary leaves (3/4tsp)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 375 degrees F and grease 2 baking sheets. Take a large bowl; mix 2 cups of flour, rosemary, fennel seeds, salt, pepper and yeast in it.

2. Add 1 1/3 cup of warm water and mix it with wooden spoon. Beat it with spoon for 1 minute. Add olive oil in it and then mix 2 ¼ cup of flour in it to form dough.

3. Place the dough on floured surface and then knead it for 5 minutes to make it smooth and elastic. Add more flour while kneading it if necessary. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and keep it for 10 minutes. Then divide the dough in half.

4. Cover one portion of the dough and keep it for sometime. Cut the other portion of the dough into 32 pieces. Roll each piece into 12 inches long rope. Now place these ropes of dough on the baking sheet for about 1 inch apart.

5. Place the sheet in oven and bake it for about 18-20 minutes until get golden brown and crispy. Rotate the sheets between upper and lower racks during baking. Place these sticks on wire rack to cool and then keep in airtight container.

Make about 64 bread sticks.

Orange Blueberry Bread Recipe

Ingredients
1. All purpose flour(1 3/4c)
2. baking powder (1 tbsp)
3. grated orange peel (2tsp)
4. egg (1)
5. sugar (3/4c)
6. salt (1/2tsp)
7. butter (6tbsp)
8. cornmeal (1/4c)
9. blue berries (1c)
10. orange juice (1/2c)
11. baking soda (1/2tsp)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a loaf pan. Grease it and floured it. Take a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoon of flour and blue berries in it. Toss it.

2. Take a medium size bowl, mix cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, salt and remaining flour in it. Take a large bowl, beat butter and sugar in it at high speed for about 3 minutes or until it gets fluffy. Add egg and beat it well.

3. Now beat orange peel and orange juice in it. Now add flour mixture in it and blend it. Mix blue berries in it and then spread it in loaf pan.

4. Place the pan in oven and then bake it for 55 to 65 minutes or until the loaf inserted in it comes out clean. Cool it for 5 minutes and then take it out from the pan and then cool it completely.

Orange Blueberry Bread Recipe

Ingredients
All purpose flour(1 3/4c), baking powder (1 1/2c), grated orange peel (2tsp), egg (1), sugar (3/4c), salt (1/2tsp), butter (6tbsp), cornmeal (1/4c), blue berries (1c) and orange juice (1/2c).

Method of preparation:-
First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a loaf pan. Grease it and floured it. Take a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoon of flour and blue berries in it. Toss it. Take a medium size bowl, mix cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, salt and remaining flour in it. Take a large bowl, beat butter and sugar in it at high speed for about 3 minutes or until it gets fluffy. Add egg and beat it well. Now beat orange peel and orange juice in it. Now add flour mixture in it and blend it. Mix blue berries in it and then spread it in loaf pan. Place the pan in oven and then bake it for 55 to 65 minutes or until the loaf inserted in it comes out clean. Cool it for 5 minutes and then take it out from the pan and then cool it completely.

Italian Easter Bread Recipe

Ingredients
1. Unbleached flour (2 1/2 to 3 1/2c)
2. uncooked eggs, colored with Easter egg dye (5)
3. melted shortening (2tbsp)
4. anise seed (1/2tsp)
5. chopped bleached almonds (1/3c)
6. mixed candied fruit(1/2c)
7. eggs at room temperature (2)
8. butter (2tsp)
9. milk (2/3c)
10. dry yeast (1pkg)
11. salt (1tsp)
12. sugar (1/4c)

For icing:-
1. Confectioner sugar (1c)
2. vanilla (1/8tsp)
3. milk (1tbsp)
4. colored sprinkles

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a large bowl, Blend yeast, sugar and salt with 1 cup of flour. Take a sauce pan, milk and butter and heat it until the butter gets melted.

2. Pour milk into the dry ingredients and mix it with wooden spoon. Now add eggs and 1/2cup of flour to make thick batter. Then make the ball of dough by adding enough flour. Place the dough on floured board and knead it for about 10 minutes.

3. Take a bowl, grease it and then place the dough in it. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and then place it warm to double in bulk for about 1 hour.

4. Take a bowl, mix fruit, nut and anise seed in it. Take out the dough from the bowl and then place on lightly floured surface and knead it in nut and fruit mixture and then divide it in half. Roll each piece into 24 inch rope and then twist the two ropes to make a ring on a baking sheet.

5. Brush the dough with melted shorting and then make a place in the dough by push the twist aside and add egg in it. Now push the egg down and cover it with waxed paper and keep it warm place to double in bulk for about 1 hour.

6. Place the sheet in preheated oven and bake it for 35 minutes at 350 degrees F until the knife inserted in it comes out clean. Take off the sheet from the oven and place on wire rack to cool. When the bread gets cool then drizzle the icing on the top and then decorate it with colored sprinkles.

Apple Nut Bread Recipe

Ingredients
1. All purpose flour (3c)
2. baking soda (1tsp)
3. sugar (2c)
4. slightly beaten eggs (3)
5. vegetables oil (1c)
6. vanilla (1tbsp)
7. cinnamon (1tsp)
8. chopped pared, cored apples (4c)
9. chopped pecans (1c)
10. sugar (2tbsp)
11. cinnamon (1/2tsp)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 325 degrees F. Take 2 loaf pans, grease and floured them. Take a bowl, mix eggs, oil, vanilla and 2 cup sugar in it. Mix it thoroughly.

2. Take another bowl, mix flour, cinnamon and baking soda in it. Now add the mixture of dry ingredients into the mixture of wet ingredients. Mix both the mixture thoroughly and then add apples and pecans in it. Divide this batter in two loaf pans.

3. Prepare the topping by mixing 2 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon and then sprinkle it over the top of loaves. Place the pan in oven and bake it for about 1 hour and 10 minute.

4. Then cool the bread on wire rack fir about 10 minutes. Take off the bread from the pans and keep it for cooling. Wrap this bread in foil or in plastic bags at room temperature.

Moist Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients
1. All purpose flour (2c)
2. butter (1/2c)
3. beaten eggs (2)
4. salt (1/4tsp)
5. baking soda (1tsp)
6. mashed over ripe bananas (2 1/3c)
7. brown sugar (3/4c)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a loaf pan and grease it. Take a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt in it.

2. Take another bowl, mix butter and brown sugar in it. Add eggs and mashed bananas in it and then blend it thoroughly. Now add this banana mixture into the flour mixture and mix it until gets moisten.

3. Pour this batter into the loaf pan and place the pan in oven and then bake it for 60 to 65 minutes or until the knife inserted in the center of loaf comes out clean. Keep the loaves for sometime to cool in pan and then take out on the wire rack to cool.

Country Cheese Topped Corn Bread Recipe

Ingredients
1. All purpose flour (2c)
2. baking soda (2tsp)
3. baking powder (2tsp)
4. wheat flour (1c)
5. bacon strips (4)
6. salt (1tsp)
7. eggs (4)
8. whole milk (3/4c)
9. honey (3tbsp)
10. whole Kemel corn, drained (1can)
11. shredded cheddar cheese (3/4c)
12. plain yogurt (1/2c)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Take a glass baking sheet of 9×13 inch and grease it properly. Take a sauce pan, place it on medium heat and then brown the bacon in it until it gets crispy. Keep it aside to cool and then chop it into small pieces.

2. Take a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, soda, salt in it. Take another bowl, beat eggs in it until it gets fluffy and then add milk, yogurt, honey and bacon fat .

3. Mix it thoroughly until gets blended. Then mix bacon pieces and corn in it to form the batter of this mixture. Place batter in the pan and bake it for about 25 to 30 minutes until it gets brown on top.

4. Sprinkle shredded cheese on the top and then again bake it until the cheese gets melted for about 5 to 10 minutes. Take off from the oven and then keep it to cool before serving.
