Apple Cream Coffee Cake Recipe

Ingredients
1. All purpose flour (2c)
2. butter or margarine, softened (1/2c)
3. ground cinnamon (2tsp)
4. chopped walnuts (1/2c)
5. sugar, divided (1 1/2c)
6. vanilla extract (1tsp)
7. salt (1/2tsp)
8. baking soda (1/2tsp)
9. baking powder (1tsp)
10. peeled, cored and thinly sliced apple (1med.)
11. sour cream (1c)
12. eggs (2)

Method of preparation:-

1. Take a small bowl, mix cinnamon, nuts and ½ cup of sugar and then keep it aside.

2. Take a large mixing bowl, cream butter in it and then add rest of the sugar in it and again beat it until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. Then add eggs in it one by one. Beat the mixture after each addition of egg. Mix vanilla in it.

3. Now mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl and then add to the creamed mixture with sour cream. Beat the mixture properly after each addition.

4. Take a tube pan of 10 inch with removable bottom, grease it and then spread half of the mixture in it. Place apple slices on it and then dust half of the nuts mixture on it. Then spread the rest of the cream mixture and again dust nuts mixture on the top.

5. Now place the tube pan in oven and bake it for about 40 minutes at 375 degrees F. Bake it until the tooth pick inserted in the center comes out clean.

6. Take out the cake from oven and keep it for 30 minutes to loosen the sides of cake and then take out the cake from the pan with removable bottom. Keep it to cool and then serve it.

Banana Crème Cake Recipe

Ingredients
1. Ripe bananas (2)
2. instant vanilla or banana pudding (2 boxes)
3. walnuts (1c)
4. spice cake mix (1)
5. eggs (4)
6. oil (1/2c)
7. water (1c)
8. milk (1 1/4c)
9. caramel ice cream topping

Method of preparation:-

1. Take 2 layer pans of 8 or 9 inch, grease and flour them and keep them aside. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a bowl, add milk and mix 1 pudding mix in it. Beat the mixture until it gets well blended and then place the bowl in the refrigerator.

2. Take another bowl add water, one small box of pudding mix, ½ cup of crushed walnuts, eggs, oil in to the spice cake mix. Pour this mixture into the greased pans.

3. Place the pans in oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the edges of cake pulls away. Place the pans on rack, covered with wax paper to cool.

4. Cut the cake horizontally through bottom layer, spread the layer of caramel, then the layer of banana slices and the prepared pudding mixture. Sprinkle the crushed walnuts over it.

5. Now replace the layer and repeat the steps. Spread the whipped topping on the top of the cake. Place the cake in the refrigerator to chill and then serve it.

Cream Cake Recipe

Ingredients
All purpose flour (1 1/2c), white sugar (3/4c), eggs (2), baking powder (2tsp), vanilla extract (1tsp) and heavy whipping cream (1c), salt (1tsp)

Method Of Preparation:-
First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a square pan of 9×9 inch, grease it and then keep it aside. Take a small bowl, beat eggs in it until they get very thick. Then add vanilla and sugar in it and beat this mixture properly. Take another bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder in it. Then add this flour mixture into the egg mixture in three parts alternately with whipping cream. Now pour this mixture into the greased square pan. Place the pan in oven and bake it for about 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees F. Bake it until the wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Chinese Sundae Recipe

Ingredients
1. Chopped, cooked chicken or pork (2c)
2. chow Mein noodles (15 ounce can)
3. milk (23tbsp)
4. cream of chicken soup (2cans about 10 1/2ounce)
5. salt (1/2tsp)
6. water (3c)
7. millet (1/2c)
8. rice (3/4c)
9. maraschino cherries (6)
10. shredded coconut (17 ounce package)
11. silvered almonds (18 ounce package)
12. chopped green onions (34)
13. shfredded cheese (1/2pound)
14. celery, cut into ¼ inch diagonal slices (2sticks)
15. chopped tomatoes (2)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a saucepan of medium size, place it over heat. Add water and salt in it and then cook rice and millet in it until the grains get soft.

2. Take another saucepan, put soup in it and dilute it with milk. Cook it until it gets the consistency of sauce. Take plates, build Sundaes in plates.

3. First add rice and millets, then add chow Mein noodles and then add pork or chicken, celery, tomatoes, cheese, onions, shredded cheese soup, coconut, silvered almonds and cherries in it.

Chinese Fortune Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
1. All purpose flour (2/3c)
2. almond extract (1tsp)
3. cornstarch (1tbsp)
4. sugar (1/2c)
5. melted unsalted butter (6tbsp)
6. egg whites (3)
7. cooking spray

Method of preparation:-

1. First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a cookie sheet, grease it with cooking spray. Take a bowl, add all the ingredients in it and beat them.

2. Now spread the 1-2 drops of cookie mixture to 3-5 inch rounds, several inches apart. Then spread the drops in circular shape with the back of the spoon.

3. Place the sheet in the oven and bake the cookies for 6 to 8 minutes until they get light brown color. Then take out the cookies quickly and place fortune (3*1/2” strip of clean white paper) in it, fold it half and then fold the edges to form the fortune cookie shape. Now keep them to cool.

Chinese Almond Muffins Recipe

Ingredients
1. All purpose flour (11/3c)
2. baking powder (1tbsp)
3. milk (1c)
4. melted butter (1/4c)
5. almond extract (21/2tsp)
6. egg (1)
7. whole almonds (for garnish)
8. sliced almonds (2/3c)
9. sugar (1/2c)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a bowl, add all the dry ingredients in it and mix them properly. Mix almonds in it. Take another bowl, beat egg, almond extract, milk and melted butter in it.

2. Take the bowl of dry ingredients mixture, make a well in it and then add the egg mixture in it and then quickly mix both the mixtures to form a batter.

3. Take muffin cups, grease them and then put the batter in the cups with spoon. Place one whole almond on the top of each muffin.

4. Place the muffin cups in oven and bake them for about 20 to 25 minutes at 375 degrees F until they get brown. Insert the tooth pick in the center of muffins if it comes out clean then almond muffins are ready.

Chinese Kaashi Halwa Recipe

Ingredients
1. Golden raisins (1tbsp)
2. broken cashew (1tbsp)
3. sugar (2 c or to taste)
4. winter melon (2pounds)
5. red food color (2drops)
6. ghee (2tbsp)
7. crushed cardamom (1/2tsp)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take winter melon, peel it, take out seeds, grate it and then squeeze the water from it and keep it aside.

2. Take a heavy bottomed pan, place it over heat. Heat ghee in it and add cashew nuts in it. Fry them until they get light brown in color. Then add raisins in it and fry them until they get fluffy. Keep it aside.

3. Now add grated winter melon and cook it until the water gets evaporate and melon gets cooked. Then add sugar in it and mix it by stirring until the water gets evaporates.

4. Now add crushed cardamom, fried cashew, raisins and food color in it and then mix it properly. Take off the pan from heat and serve it hot or cold.
