Anaheim Fish Tacos Recipe

1. Halibut fillets (1 1/2pound)
2. chopped Anaheim chile pepper (1)
3. vegetable oil (1tsp)
4. chooped leek (1)
5. ground cumin (1/2tsp)
6. diced tomatoes (2large)
7. chicken broth (1c)
8. salt and pepper (to taste)
9. crushed garlic (2cloves)
10. corn tortillas (12)
11. lime juice (1)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a large frying pan, heat oil in it over medium heat. Saute, leek, chile pepper and garlic until they get tender. Season them with salt and pepper.

2. Mix the tomatoes and then chicken broth in the pan. Mix them properly and then add cumin and keep them to boil. Now reduce the heat to low.

3. Place the fish in the mixture. Squeeze the lime juice. Cook it for about 15 to 20 minutes the fish gets cooked or easily flakes with fork. Wrap it in warm corn tortilla to serve it.

Simple And Awesome Fish Taco Recipe

1. Halibut steaks (1 1/2pounds)
2. flour tortillas (4)
3. sour cream (16oz)
4. shredded Monterey Jack cheese (1c)
5. salsa (1c)
6. black beans canned or made from scratch (2c)
7. freshly ground black pepper (1/2tsp)
8. oregano (1/2tbsp)
9. chili powder (1tbsp)
10. cumin powder (1tbsp)
11. olive oil (1tbsp)
12. fresh lime juice (1/4c)

Method of preparation:-

1. Take a zip-lock plastic bag or dish with cover, mix lime juice, cumin, sour cream, oregano, olive oil, chili powder and pepper in it and then mix them well. Add fish to lime marinade and keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

2. Prepare the grill and oil it. Now place the fish in the hot grill and cook it for 4 to 5 minutes or until the fish gets flake easily with fork. Now wrap the tortillas in foil and place on grill to heat.

3. Place the black beans in the microwave dish and just heat them in the microwave. When the fish gets cooked then flake it with fork.

4. Assemble the tacos, place the beans in the center of each tortilla, now add the flaked fish and then put cheese and salsa on the top. Then serve the tacos.

California Style Fish In Dipped Tortillas Recipe

1. Warmed flour tortillas (12)
2. Ahi tuna fillets (2pounds)
3. chopped Napa cabbage (1small)
4. fresh lime juice (1/4c)
5. soy sauce (1/2c)
6. chopped jalapeno peppers (2large)
7. pasilla sauce
8. olive oil

Method of preparation:-
1. Take fish and then cut into bite size pieces. Take a large bowl, Mix soy sauce, lime juice and peppers in it. Add fish pieces, coat them and keep them to marinate for 20 minutes.

2. Take a frying pan, add olive oil in it. Heat the oil and then add fish in it and fry for 3 minutes from all sides.

3. Take out the fish and keep it warm. Add more oil to the pan, fry cabbage in it for 2 minutes. Before serving, dip tortillas in pasilla sauce.

4. Heat in the frying pan or oven. Now assemble them and then fold and serve.

Baja Style Fish Tacos Recipe


Salsa Fresca:-
1. Seeded and minced jalapeno (2med.)
2. diced tomatoes (3c)
3. diced white onion (1/2c)
4. salt (1/2tsp)
5. fresh lime juice (1tbsp)
6. chopped fresh cilantro (1/2c)

White sauce:-
1. Chopped fresh cilantro (1/3c)
2. plain low fat yogurt (1/2c)
3. mayonnaise (1/2c)

Beer batter:-
1. Beer (1c)
2. freshly ground black pepper (1/4tsp)
3. garlic salt (1/4tsp)
4. dry mustard (1/2tsp)
5. dried oregano (1/2tsp)
6. salt (1/2tsp)
7. all purpose flour (1c)

1. All purpose flour (1/4 to ½ c)
2. fresh stone ground corn tortilla (12)
3. peeled, pitted and cut into slices (1ripe avocado)
4. finely shredded cabbage (3c)
5. cod, tilapia or whte fish fillets (1 1/2pound)
6. vegetable oil

Method of preparation:-
1. For salsa fresca, mix all the ingredients in a bowl and then keep the bowl in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

2. For white sauce, mix all ingredients until get blended and keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.

3. For the beer batter, mix flour with salt, oregano, garlic salt, dry mustard and pepper. Mix them and then mix beer into the flour mixture until get blended.

4. For the tacos, Take fish and pat dry it. Cut the fish into 12v pieces. Take a deep frying pan, pour vegetable oil in it and heat it to 350 degrees F.

5 Take a shallow bowl, place ¼ cup of flour in it. Now coat the fish with flour. Dip the fish into the batter and then coat all the sides.

6. Place the pieces of fish in hot oil and fry for about 4 minutes or until it gets crispy and golden brown. Now heat the corn tortillas lightly in frying pan until they get soft and hot.

7. Now assemble the layer of fish, salsa, white sauce, cabbage, avocado on each tortilla. Squeeze the lime on the top. Fold tortilla over to serve.

Crispy Fish Tacos Recipe

1. Flour tortillas (4 about 6 inch in diameter)
2. tilapia fillets, cut into 16 equal strips (1pound)
3. finely sliced scallions (4 about 1/2c)
4. freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
5. lime wedges (4)
6. egg substitute (1/2+ 1tbsp water)
7. panko bread crumbs (1c)

Red cabbage slaw:-
1. Reduced fat mayonnaise (1/2c)
2. fresh lime juice (3tbsp)
3. cayenne pepper (1/8tsp)
4. shredded red cabbage (1small)
5. freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
6. chopped fresh cilantro leaves (1/2c)
7. granny Smith apples (2med.)
8. kosher salt (to taste)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a bowl, mix mayonnaise, cayenne pepper, 2 tablespoon of lime juice, kosher salt and pepper until get well blended. Keep the bowl aside.

2. Peel and julienne apples and mix them with the remaining lime juice. Mix apples, cilantro, shredded cabbage and wet mixture. Mix them well.

3. Flavor with freshly ground black pepper and then keep it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.


1. Take a bowl, beat egg substitute with water, pepper and keep it aside. Place the bread crumbs in shallow dish and keep it aside.

2. Take fish, rinse it and pat dry it. Dip the fish in egg mixture and then roll it in bread crumbs. Coat the rack with the cooking spray and then place the fillets on the rack on top of baking sheet.

3. Bake it uncovered for about 20 minutes until the fish gets flake easily with fork.

4. To make taco, warm flour tortillas according to the instructions written in a package, layer ½ cup red cabbage slaw and the four strips of fish and then sprinkle the scallions over it and add a lime wedge.

Chipotle Fish Taco Recipe

1. Fillets tilapia, red snapper or orange roughly (4)
2. finely chopped garlic (1tbsp)
3. chili powder (1/4tsp)
4. fresh lime juice (3/4)
5. olive oil (1/2c)
6. shredded cabbage (2c)
7. tortilla of 6 inch (12)
8. lime juice (1tbsp)
9. heavy cream or crème fraiche (1/2c)
10. finely chopped chipotle chiles in adobo sauce (2)
11. salt and pepper (to taste)

Salsa Fresca:-
1. Seeded and chopped ripe tomatoes (3)
2. olive oil (1tbsp)
3. lime juice (1tbsp)
4. chopped cilantro (2tbsp)
5. seeded and diced Serrano chile (1)
6. diced red onion (1/2c)
7. salt and pepper (to taste)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a non reactive bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, chili powder and garlic in the bowl. Add fish in it and keep it to marinte for about 30 minutes but not more than 2 hours.

2. Take a medium bowl, mix all the salsa ingredients. Keep it aside for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavor to blend.

3. Strain the chipotle in a small bowl, discard the seeds. Mix the cream or crème fraiche and 1 tablespoon of lime juice in the bowl with chipotle. Keep the bowl aside.

4. Preheat the barbecue grill. Drain the fish from the marinade, sprinkle it with salt and pepper and then cook it on the grill until it gets cooked. Cut it into strips and place it on warm plate.

5. Wrap the tortillas in the clean and wet dish towel. Then place the wrapped tortillas in microwave oven and heat them on high until get hot and soft for about 1 to 2 minutes.

6. To serve , place the warm fish, corn tortillas, chipotle, salsa fresca and cabbage in separate dishes. Person make their own tacos by addings the ingredients of their choice.

Cod Taco With Salsa Recipe

1.Fresh orange, peeled and segmented (1c)
2. peeled and pitted avocado (1/2pound)
3. corn tortillas
4. fresh lime juice (1ounce)
5. lemon pepper seasoning (to taste)
6. olive oil (4tbsp)
7. cod fillets (6)
8. salt (to taste)
9. crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)
10. chopped cilantro (1/4c)
11. sliced green onion (1/4c)
12. fresh lime juice (1 ounce)

Method of preparation:-

1. To prepare salsa, cut oranges and avocados into ½ inch chunks. Take a bowl, mix onions, lime juice and cilantro in the bowl. Add pepper flakes and the salt according to taste.

2. Take a saucepan, heat oil in it and saute the cod fillets in it. Season with lemon pepper. Sprinkle the 2tablespoon of lime juice over the fillets. Now break the cod into chunks.

3. Place the cod and 2/3cup of salsa on the double layer of tortillas. Fold it over to serve.
