Curried Tilapia With Mango Salsa Recipe

Ingredients
1. Peele and diced mango (1)
2. fresh Tilapia fillets (4)
3. minced Serrano chili (1)
4. olive oil, divided (2tbsp)
5. garlic pepper seasoning (1tbsp)
6. curry powder (1tbsp)
7. salt (1/2tsp)
8. lime juice (2tbsp)
9. chopped cilantro leaves (1/2c)
10. chopped red onion (1/4c)

Method of preparation:-

For Mango Salsa:-
1. Take a glass bowl, mix mango, serrano chile, red onion, cilantro, lime juice and salt in it and then keep it aside.

For Tilapia:-
1. Take a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of olive oil, garlic pepper, curry powder and then rub this mixture on the both sides of the fish fillets.

2. Take a large frying pan, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil in it over medium high heat. Cook the fish fillets for about 3 minutes on each side or until it flakes easily with fork. When it gets cooked then serve it with mango salsa.

Tilapia Scaloppine Recipe

Ingredients
1. Tilapia fillets (1pound)
2. butter (2tbsp)
3. extra virgin olive oil (2tbsp)
4. minced garlic (1tbsp)
5. sliced fresh button mushrooms (1/2c)
6. drained capers (2tbsp)
7. lemon juice (1lemon)
8. white wine (1/2c)
9. salt and ground black pepper (to taste)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a frying pan, heat olive oil with butter in it over medium heat. Add garlic in it and then place the fish fillets in the pan. Sprinkle the salt and pepper over the fish fillets and cook them for about 90 seconds.

2. Now turn the fish, season it with salt and pepper and again cook it for about 90 seconds. Now add the mushrooms, wine and capers in the pan.

3. Cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat to low and keep the fish to simmer until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the wine gets reduced to half for about 6 to 7 minutes. Now remove the cover from the pan, add lemon juice in the pan and again cook for about 1 minute.

Spicy Tilapia With Aioli Recipe

Ingredients
1. Tilapia fillets (2pounds)
2. cumin (1tsp)
3. onion powder (1tsp)
4. garlic powder (1tsp)
5. chilli powder (2tbsp)

For Aioli:-

1. Dried tarragon (3/4tsp)
2. Dijon mustard (1-1/2tbsp)
3. lemon juice (1-1/2tbsp)
4. minced (6cloves)
5. mayonnaise (1-1/2c)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a bowl, mix all the ingredients of aioli in the bowl. Mix them properly and then keep the bowl in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it.

2. Now preheat the grill. Take a bowl; mix the spices for the fish in the bowl. Take Tilapia fillets and then sprinkle the spices over both the sides of the fillets.

3. Now place the fillets on the hot grill and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes over a medium high heat. Turn the fillets once during grilling. When the fillets get cooked then take them off from the grill and place in the serving dish. Serve them with Aioli.

Pecan Crusted Tilapia Recipe

Ingredients
1. Finely grounded, pecans (1pound)
2. Tilapia fillets (2 per person)
3. lemon (1)
4. parsley (for garnishing))
5. pepper or lemon pepper (1/4tsp)
6. onion powder (as desired)
7. cereal thickener (2tbsp)
8. salt (to taste)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 400 degrees F. Take a baking pan cover it with aluminium foil. Take a large zip-lock plastic bag, put the finely grounded pecans in it and then add cereal thickener, onion powder, salt and pepper or lemon pepper.

2. To wet the Tilapia fillets sprinkle some water over it and then put them inside the zip-lock bag. This makes it easy to coat the Tilapia fillets with pecan mixture.

3. Now place the pecan crusted fillets in the baking pan. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake the fillets for about 10 minutes. Or use a frying pan to cook the pecan crusted fillets if you prefer not to bake them in the oven.

4. When the fillets get ready then place them on a serving plate and squeeze some lemon juice over them. Decorate them with some parsley and then serve them.

Pan Fried Tilapia Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients
1. Mayonnaise (1/4c)
2. Tilapia fillets (2 or 4 ounce)
3. Whole wheat bread, toasted (4slices)
4. pepper jack cheese (4slices)
5. butter (2tbsp)
6. garlic powder (1/2tsp)
7. seafood seasoning (1tsp)
8. ground piri-piri chili pepper (1/2tsp)
9. minced red onion (1/4c)
10. dill pickle relish (2tbsp)
11. finely chopped tomato (1/2c)
12. salt and ground pepper (to taste)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, tomato, onion, piri piri and relish in the bowl. Season it with salt and pepper, according to taste and then keep it aside.

2. Take Tilapia fillets, season them from both sides with seafood seasoning and garlic powder. Take a frying pan, melt butter in it over medium heat. Cook the Tilapia fillets in it until get golden brown from both sides and no longer translucent in the center for about 2 to 3 minutes per side.

3. Place two slices of pepperjack cheese on the top of each fillet. Cover the pan and cook it until the cheese gets melted.

4. To make sandwich, place each Tilapia fillet on the toasted bread slice and spread the sauce over the fillet and then top it with other slice of bread.

Fried Tilapia Recipe

Ingredients
1. Tilapia fillets (1pound)
2. egg whites (2)
3. ice water
4. all purpose flour (1/4c)
5. yellow cornmeal (1/4c)
6. dried thymes (1tsp)
7. dried marjoram (1tsp)
8. seasoned bread crumbs (1/4c)
9. fresh ground pepper (1/2tsp)
10. salt (1/2tsp)
11. cooking spray

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 400 degrees F. Take Tilapia fillets and cut them into four serving pieces if necessary.

2. Take ice water in a bowl and soak the Tilapia fillets in it for few minutes. Now rinse the Tilapia fillets in tap running water. Dry they with a paper towel and they pat them carefully.

3. Take a shallow pan or plate, put salt, pepper and flour in it and mix them together. Separates the egg yolk from the egg whites in a bowl and then beat the egg whites until get foamy and then put them in another shallow pan or plate.

4. Take one more shallow pan or plate, put the bread crumbs, yellow cornmeal, dried thymes and dried marjoram in it and then blend all these ingredients.

5. Now take Tilapia fillets, first dip them into the flour mixture then into the egg white mixture and then finally cover the fillets completely with bread crumbs mixture.

6. Take a baking pan, coat it with cooking spray. Now put the Tilapia fillets in the baking pan, place the pan in the preheated oven and then bake for about 10 to 12 minutes. Now the fried Tilapia is ready to serve.

Baked Tilapia And Fresh Spinach

Ingredients
1. Tilapia fillets (4 to 6)
2. chicken broth (1/4c)
3. cooking spray
4. onion powder (1/4tsp)
5. cleaned baby spinach (8 to 12 ounces)
6. salt (to taste)
7. chopped tomato (1small)
8. creole seasoning blend
9. thinly sliced green onions (4)
10. pepper (to taste)

Method of preparation:-

1. Take a baking dish of about 9-13 inch. Spray the dish with cooking spray and then add the spinach in it. Make the spinach to fit in the baking dish and then steam or saute it slightly for about 1 to 2 minutes to wilt it. Sprinkle the salt, onion powder and pepper over the sauted spinach and then add the chicken broth.

2. Take the tilapia fillets in a bowl, sprinkle lightly with salt, pepper and creole seasonings. Now arrange the fillets over the spinach in the baking dish and then sprinkle with chopped tomatoes and the sliced green onions.

3. Cover the baking dish with a foil and place it in the oven and bake it for about 20 to 25 minute or until the fish flakes easily with a fork at 350 degrees. When it gets ready then serve it with a rice pilaf or baked potatoes.
