Easy Cod Cakes And Mustard Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
1. Cod fillets (1 1/2lbs)
2. Dijon mustard (4tsp)
3. oil (1/4c)
4. chopped parsley (2tsp)
5. dry bread crumbs (1/2c)
6. eggs (2)
7. mayonnaise (1/2c)
8. lemon juice (1tbsp)
9. salt and pepper (to taste)

Method Of Preparation:-
1. Take a bowl, mix mustard and mayonnaise in it and then keep it aside. Take lemons and squeeze out 1 tablespoon of juice from them. Now take cod fillet, remove bone from it and then cut it into 1 ½ inch pieces.

2. Take food processor, put fish in it and make puree of it until it gets fluffy. Take a bowl, beat eggs in it and then add parsley, bread crumbs and pepper, salt and lemon juice in it. Now add fish in it. Mix it well and make about 8 patties of this mixture.

3. Take a large frying pan, place it over standard heat. Put patties in hot oil and cook them for 3 to 4 minutes from each side until the patties change to golden color. Then drain the patties or cod cakes on paper towels and then serve them hot with mustard sauce.

Broiled And Buttered Cod Fish Fillets

Ingredients
1. Cod fillets (6 about 6 ounce)
2. melted butter (1 1/2c)
3. salt (2tbsp)
4. white sugar (1c)
5. water (6c)
6. paprika (1dash)

Method Of Preparation:-

1. First heat the broiler. Take a cookie sheet and grease it lightly. Take a large saucepan and place fish in it.

2. Take a small bowl, mix water, salt, paprika and sugar in it and then pour this mixture over fish in the pan to cover it properly. Keep it to boil for about 3 to 5 minutes over medium high heat.

3. Then take out the fillets from water and drain on paper towels to take out the excess water from the fish. Now place the fish fillets on greased cookie sheet and brush them with 6 tablespoons of melted butter and then dust paprika over them.

4. Place the cookie sheet in broiler and broil the fillets for about 8 to 10 minutes until they get golden brown color. When the fish gets broiled then takes it out from broiler and serve it with rest of the melted butter.

Beer Batter Cod Fish Fillets Recipe

Ingredients
1. Cod fillets (2 pounds)
2. eggs (2)
3. milk (1/2c)
4. beer (3/4c)
5. dried dill weed (1/2tsp)
6. baking powder (1tsp)
7. salt (1tsp)
8. all purpose flour (1c)
9. vegetable oil (for frying)

Method Of Preparation:-

1. Take a large bowl; add flour, baking powder, salt and dill in it. Mix them well and then add milk, beer and egg in it and again mix it well.

2. Take fish fillets; dip them in batter for about 15 minutes to coat them properly. Heat a deep frying pan, heat oil in it to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.

3. Now put the batter coated fish fillets in hot oil and fry them until they get golden brown color. Now take out the fish fillets from oil and drain them on paper towels. Now beer batter fish is ready to serve. Serve it hot with sauce.

Cod Fish Fillets With Stuffing Recipe

Ingredients
1. Cod fish fillets (2 ½ pounds)
2. melted butter or margarine (2tbsp)
3. chopped fresh mushrooms (1/2c)
4. finely grated carrots (1/2c)
5. finely chopped onion (1/2c)
6. chicken broth (1/3c)
7. pepper (1/8tsp)
8. salt (1tsp)
9. lemon juice (1tbsp)
10. beaten egg (1)
11. dry bread crumbs (1/2c)
12. paprika (1/8tsp)
13. minced fresh parsley (1/4c)

Method Of Preparation:-
1. Take a large bowl; add melted butter, chicken broth, chopped onion, grated carrots, fresh mushrooms, bread crumbs, minced fresh parsley, lemon juice, beaten egg, pepper and salt in it. Mix all these ingredients well and then fill this mixture in the fish fillets.

2. Take a microwave–safe dish of 13*9*2-inch and grease it. Place the stuffed fish fillets on the greased dish. Take a paper towel, moisten it with water and then place it over the fish.

3. Place the dish in microwave at 700-watt and cook the fish for about 15 to 16 minutes by rotating irregularly until the fish gets flake easily with fork. Then dust paprika over it and serve it.

Cedar Plank Cod Fsh Recipe

Ingredients
Cod fillets (2 about 5 ounce), melted butter (2tbsp), honey (1tbsp), salt (1/8tsp), garlic salt (1/4tsp), dried parsley (1/4tsp), dried rosemary (1tsp), untreated cedar plank (1 about 12 inch) and olive oil (1tsp).

Method of preparation:-
First take cedar plank; immerse it in water for about 3 hours. Take another bowl of small size, add parsley, rosemary, salt and garlic salt in it and mix them properly. Mix honey and melted butter together in a bowl. Brush this mixture to the cod fillets and then dust the herb mixture on the top of fillets. Now place the seasoned fish in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile heat the grill. Now drain cedar plank and brush one side of it with olive oil. Place fish in the center of the oiled plank. Now place the plank with fish on the grate of the hot grill and then cook it for about 20 to 30 minutes on the medium low heat. When the fish gets cooked and get flake easily with fork then remove it from the grill and serve it hot.

Skillet-Grilled Catfish Recipe

Ingredients
1. Catfish fillets (4 about 6 ounce)
2. all purpose flour (1/4c)
3. butter (1/4c)
4. cornmeal (1/4c)
5. pepper (1/4tsp)
6. cayenne pepper (1/4tsp)
7. white pepper (1/4tsp)
8. dried thyme (1/2tsp)
9. garlic salt (1/2tsp)
10. dried basil (1tsp)
11. onion powder (1tsp)

Method Of Preparation:-

1. Take a resealable bag of large size; add flour, cornmeal, onion powder, dried basil, garlic salt, dried thyme, white pepper, cayenne pepper and pepper in it. Then add one fillet of catfish at a time in it and shake the bag to coat it well.

2. Take a heavy based skillet; place it on hot grill rack. Add butter in the skillet and melt it. Then add coated fillets in the skillet and cover it. Now grill it for about 6 to 8 minutes on both sides or until the fish gets flake easily with fork. Now the fish is ready to serve.

Baked Catfish Fillets With Egg And Onion Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
1. Catfish fillets (1lb)
2. evaporated milk (1/2c)
3. cornstarch (1tbsp)
4. thinly sliced onion (1)
5. vanilla (2drops)
6. butter (1tbsp)
7. hard cooked egg, sieved (1)
8. pepper (1/8tsp)
9. salt (3/4tsp)
10. water (1/2c)

Method Of Preparation:-

1. First heat the oven to 400 degrees F. Take catfish fillets and cut them into pieces of serving size. Take a shallow baking dish; place the fish pieces and slices of onion in it.

2. Place the dish in preheated oven and bake it at 400 degrees F. Soak milk with water and pour over meat. Bake it for about 25 minutes.

3. Now strain the broth from the baking dish into a saucepan
Add pepper and salt in the pan. Mix cornstarch in cold water to make a paste and then add it into the broth in the pan. Cook it by stirring regularly over low heat until it gets thickened.

4. Then mix butter, egg and vanilla in it and pour it over baked fish in the serving dish. Now serve it hot.
