Almond Coated Basa Recipe

Ingredients
1. 2 basa fillets
2. 1/2 cup ground almonds
3. 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
4. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
5. 1/2 tsp black pepper
6. 1/2 cup flour
7. 1/4 cup buttermilk
8. 2 eggs
9. 1 tbsp dried parsley
10. Cooking oil

Directions

1. Take the ground almonds in a bowl and add Parmesan cheese and spices. Mix these well.

2. Beat egg with buttermilk in another bowl. Coat the fish with flour and dip fish fillets in egg mixture. Then apply almond mixture on fish.

3. Heat oil in large frying pan. Fry the fish in the oil till the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Indian Basa Recipe

Ingredients
1. 4 Indian Basa fillets
2. 1 egg
3. 2 tsp hot spices mix or garam masala
4. 1cup flour
5. 1 tsp ground coriander
6. 1 tsp ground cumin
7. 1 tsp chili powder
8. 1 large bowl Yogurt
9. 1/2 cucumber – diced,
10. 4 tbsp Freshly chopped mint
11. Cooking Oil
12. Salt to taste

Directions
1. Take a large bowl. Put the yogurt, mint and cucumber and blend thoroughly. Place the bowl in the refrigerator.

2. Mix the flour and spices. Beat an egg in a bowl .Dip the fillets in the egg and then coat with the flour mix.

3. Heat cooking oil in a large pan. Fry the fish fillets till cooked on both sides. Serve hot with the yogurt prepared with mint and coriander.

Crispy Basa Fish And Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients
1. 2 basa fillets
2. 10 medium shrimp
3. 2 cups crushed corn flakes
4. 1/2 cup low-fat milk
5. 1 tbsp olive oil
6. 1/2 cup flour
7. Salt to taste
8. Pepper to taste

Directions
1. Clean and cut the fish and shrimps into medium sized pieces. Sprinkle salt and pepper on these.

2. Take milk in a large bowl and soak the fish and shrimp for about 20 minutes. Take out the fillets and sprinkle flour on these.

3. Dip the fillets in corn flakes. Now heat oil in a non stick pan and fry the fish fillets till cooked. Now fry the shrimp till it turns light brown. Serve hot with your favorite sauce.

Basa In Ginger Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
1. 5 basa steaks
2. 1 tbsp olive oil
3. 1 tbsp Cornstarch
4. 1 tbsp corn flour
5. 1 onion, finely chopped
6. 1 lemon
7. 1 inch root ginger (grated)
8. 500 ml milk
9. 1/2 tsp sugar
10. Chili sauce
11. Soy sauce

Directions
1. Clean the basa steaks. Brush with cooking oil and grill the steaks.

2. Take some oil in a pan and stir fry the onions and ginger till golden brown. Boil the milk and add corn flour stirring continuously to make it thick.

3. To this add fried onions, ginger and the other ingredients stir thoroughly and pour over the grilled steaks.

Spicy Fried Fish Recipe

Ingredients
1. Codfish fillets (1 1/2lb)
2. vegetable oil (for frying)
3. crushed garlic (3 small cloves)
4. ground or crushed cilantro (1/2tsp)
5. ground cumin (1tsp)
6. fresh lemon juice (1tbsp)
7. crushed red pepper flakes (3/4tsp)
8. ground star anise (1tsp)
9. salt (to taste)

Method Of Preparation:-
1. Take cod fish, first take off its skin and then remove bones from it. Now wash it and use a paper towel to pat dry it. Then cut fish into large pieces and keep it aside in a bowl.

2. Take a bowl; add pepper flakes, star anise, garlic, cilantro, cumin, salt and lemon juice in it. Mix all the ingredients well to make smooth paste. Then put this paste into the bowl of fish pieces and mix it gently with fish pieces to coat them.

3. Cover the bowl and keep it in the refrigerator to marinate for about 1 hour. Then take out fish from the bowl and keep it on paper towel to drain some marinade.

4. Take a large frying pan and place it over heat. Add oil in the pan and heat it to 350 degrees.

5. Put a few pieces of fish in hot oil and fry them for about 2 to 3 minutes until the fish changes to golden brown. Then take out fish pieces from oil and serve them with green salad or cooked rice.

Fried Gefilte Fish Recipe

Ingredients
1. 1.5 kg salmon fillets
2. 1.5 kg white fish fillets
3. 3 cup matzo meal
4. 4 carrots
5. 2 medium onions
6. 4 eggs
7. Dash sugar
8. Pepper (1tsp)
9. Salt to taste
10. Cooking Oil (for deep frying)

Directions
1. Cut the fish fillets and salmon fillets in large chunks and then grind these fillets in a grinder. Grind the onions and carrots along with the fish. Make a smooth paste.

2. Transfer to a large mixing bowl. Add 3 eggs and 2 cups of matzo meal to the paste formed above. Add salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Mix them well.

3. Beat remaining egg in bowl. Form small round balls of the fish mixture. Dip these balls in beaten egg and coat with remaining matzo meal. Deep fry in oil until cooked well. Serve hot.

Deluxe Fried Fish Recipe

Ingredients
1. 1 kg fresh fish
2. 2 cup flour
3. 1 1/2 cup baking mix
4. 1 tsp Red pepper
5. Cooking oil
6. Salt to taste

Directions
1. Cut the fish into medium sized pieces. Put the fish in a large bowl and add 2 tsp of salt and fill the bowl with water and place it in a refrigerator. Keep the fish in the bowl for about 2 hours.

2. Remove the fish from the bowl and rinse in fresh water. Drain the water. Add water to baking mix to prepare thin batter. Dip the fish in this batter.

3. Take out the fish from batter and dip in flour with the pepper and salt. Deep fry in a frying pan till golden brown. Serve hot.
