Shrimp Fra Diavolo Recipe

Peeled and deveined shrimp of medium size (1pound), penne pasta or spaghetti (1pound), chopped carrot (1), butter (1tbsp), diced plum tomatoes (1can or 28oz), chopped celery (1stalk), chopped red bell pepper 91/2), chopped green onions (1bunch), chopped green bell pepper (1/2), extra virgin olive oil (3tbsp), crushed red bell pepper flakes (1tsp), chopped parsley (1/4c), salt (1/2tsp), fresh ground black pepper (1/2tsp), dried oregano (1/2tsp).

Method of preparation:-
Take a large frying pan, heat butter and olive oil in it. Add onions, celery, garlic, carrots and peppers in the pan. Saute them for about 10 minutes until they get soft. Add shrimp in it and mix it for about 5 minutes. Add red pepper flakes, pepper and salt in it. Then add tomato sauce and tomatoes in the pan. Cook the mixture and then sprinkle the oregano in the pan. Take a pot and fill it with water. Add pasta in it and cook it for about 10 minutes or until it gets soft. Take a serving plate, place the pasta in it and then place the mixture of shrimp on the cooked pasta. When it gets ready to serve then spread the chopped pasta on the top.
